In honour of this week’s GLAMAZING episode of Game of Thrones, I present a couple of fanarts. Been very slowly working through my issues with art. Fanart helps.
Also wanna say thanks to the folks who reached out to me on my last post. Really appreciate it guys <3
Continuing my inking practice stint. A bit of Skyrim fanart of one of my dragonbornses. I’ve never really enjoyed high fantasy before playing Skyrim. It’s just the joy of being a female warrior woman of MIGHT without any of the other characters jaws hitting the floor with exclaimations of “GWHAAA!? You cannot be the Dragonborn, why… why.. you are a female human! IMPOSSIBLE!!” the game is just like, yeah, no one cares. It’s amazing having a whole fantasy world opened up to a woman with no constant cries of disbelief or having to prove anything. It’s just fucking awesome.
A couple of studies I did while at home over the holidays. They are redrawings of a few old pieces I did years ago. I was throwing out a ton of old embarassing sketchbooks and fancied chronicling a few old ideas with the benefit of a few years worth of art learnings.
#1 is based on my #1 witch, Ridanta. She was originally styled in a very modern, cyber/lolita look. This one is from when I started to veer her design into a more traditional direction. Was really just a bit of fun with a brush pen though :3
#2 Is based on an originally very detailed painting of Juno and Arin. Back then their characters were the opposite, Arin being cold and moody and Juno being the more happy-go-lucky sort. How things have changed XD. Again, brush pens FTW
#3 is an old design for Juno’s Knight costume. Back then it was very personalised and detailed with all sorts of beads and feathers, blame Amano.
Just realised I never actually posted this online. This piece is… a year, two years old? Can’t remember… It’s an interpretation of the old story of the Lion and the Mouse. Made for The J-cult mag for Non-Repro
